BBG - Day Eight

Today is the beginning of BBG Week 2! I'm excited to start fresh this week but disappointed that it's still going to be hot, argh! This week I'm going to try and incorporate juices to my diet. I watched the documentary 'Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead' and was really inspired to start drinking veggie and fruit juices. I'll need to get a hold of some glass jars to store them though. I also made an attempt at making my own energy balls...I jncluded 1 cup oats, 1/2 cup cashews, 1/2 cup walnuts, 1/2 cup almonds, 1/2 cup hazelnuts, 1/4 cup pepitas, 2 tbsp soaked chia seeds, 1 tsp dried goji berries, 1 tsp dried cranberries, 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1/4 cup agave syrup, 1/2 cup shredded coconut. I processed them all up and let them cool in the fridge before rolling them into balls.

My exercise for today:

I started strong with Kayla's legs workout and followed it up with 30 mins of LISS on the cross trainer.

My food for today:

Breakfast 1
Green smoothie with mango, pineapple, frozen banana, spinach and coconut water

Breakfast 2
Nut and Seed Heaven ball and a green juice from my local coffee shop

Lunch
Apple, carrot and spinach juice with cinnamon, nutmeg and turmeric
3 crackers with 3 teaspoons cottage cheese, tomato slices and avocado. Topped with chilli flakes, pepper and salt.

 




Dinner
Chicken and salad wrap with light mayonnaise

Snacks
White peach
Small bowl of cherries and grapes
